SketchAR took part in the EICS — European Immersive Computing Summit in Venice to share our story, experience, and vision of augmented reality.

EICS Summit is a two day conferences on XR technologies, innovation, and creativity; including, keynotes, speeches, and networking inside the charming Venice Casino. There were 16 top speakers present from the worlds of ‘Architecture, Art and Design’, ‘Entertainment’, ‘Healthcare’ and ‘Industry 4.0’.

Founder and CEO of SketchAR Andrey Drobitko was one of the speakers at the event to tell a story about the development, problems and solutions of computer vision in relation to what we have done so far with SketchAR.

Our first impression was that the fantastic organisers had chosen an amazing location in Casino Di Venezia. A new era juxtaposed with the Middle Ages. This contrast told us a simple thing: we need to think about the future, but not forget our great legacy.
