As we bid farewell to another year, we celebrate the achievements of our users, and this year is no exception.
Our mission remains unwavering – to recognize creative potential and assist in its realization through the art of drawing, guiding individuals from doubt to confidence.
In the past year, we reached a significant milestone of 11 million app downloads (6M Android, 5M iOS).
Community
The Sketchar community has produced over 5,100,000 artworks, with 3,200,000+ created using augmented reality in 2023.
As before, approximately 50% of our app users are adults aged 24-35, for whom drawing is both a hobby and an integral part of their daily lives. Another 25% are individuals aged 18-25 who are eager to learn something new. For 15% of Sketchar users, the app serves as a stress-reliever and anxiety reducer, inspiring us even further.
We launched over 30 art challenges with more than 6,000 participants. Thousands of people from 130 countries come together to draw and inspire each other on Sketchar.
World Recognition
The #WeArePlay campaign by GooglePlay spotlights and celebrates creators of apps and games from around the world, and the Sketchar team is honored to be one of the three companies selected to represent Lithuania.
Additionally, the Sketchar team has been featured in a book.
Sketchar in schools worldwide
An increasing number of schools in Singapore, the UAE, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea are applying for our free license for schools.
We are looking forward to helping teachers recognize early creative talent and engage students in a creative learning experience with Sketchar.
"Sketchar is a unique product designed to unlock children's creative potential and engage them in the drawing process with vibrant results." - Kuo Jean Tseng
Take, for instance, the National Pingbei Senior High School in Taiwan. Through Sketchar, students craft artworks that meld photographs with surrealistic designs, effortlessly merging the digital and the physical. Kuo Jean Tseng, a passionate advocate of digital learning, shared the school's experiences, highlighting the app's multiple uses both inside and outside classroom walls.
